 About the Cowan Center
Volunteers: The Cowan Center welcomes the time and commitment of volunteers. If you would like to be an usher during the 2011-12 season, call 903-566-7288.
Please make sure we have your e-mail address on file! The Cowan Center sends relevant updated event-related parking and late seating information via e-mail a couple of days before the event.
Late seating: Patrons arriving late will be admitted at the discretion of management. All performances begin promptly at the designated show time. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate time in the performance to enter.
Patrons with physical challenges: Wheelchair locations are available on both orchestra and balcony levels. Parking spaces for patrons with disabilities are located closest to the Center. The Center is equipped with a listening system and devices are available at no charge on a first-come-first-served basis at the information desks.
Alarms, pagers and cellular phones: Please turn off all watch alarms, cell phones, PDAs and pagers and refrain from sending or receiving text messages and emails during performances.
Photography: Audio recording or videotaping of performances is not permitted. Patrons in violation may be asked to surrender their cameras for the duration of the performance and /or be removed from the venue. Photography is always at the discretion of the performer.
