Culminating a week-long residency program (September 30-October 4), guitarist Robert Bluestone and his wife Rebecca Bluestone, an accomplished weaver, will perform their acclaimed piece WOVEN HARMONY – a performance-talk with opportunity for artist-audience interaction onstage at intermission. Together the Bluestone's share a unique collaboration of classical guitar and woven tapestries called WOVEN HARMONY. Each using tightly strung handmade wooden instruments they intently draw upon the subtleties of their individual discipline and meet in the middle with a common language. Their presentations evolved out of their desire to use their artistic expression as a way to communicate about the things that they feel are truly important in life and to share how creativity and imagination can allow us access to connection, empathy and compassion.
